The Pousada

The only pousada in Alto Paraiso with an official guide available 24/7, Pousada Dos Guias is owned and run by Jânio Teles, born in Alto Paraiso and with many years experience working as a guide in the national park surrounding the city.

We are also registered with the board of tourism. no.09.027383.20.0001-9

All 8 rooms include: ceiling fan, minibar, television, wardrobe, bathroom with hot shower, blinds, and very comfy beds.

The breakfast is seved at an outdoor buffet, and is homemade brazillian food with bread, cakes, tea & coffee, milk, juices, fruits, cheeses, honey, jams and buscuits.

The chapada boasts 80 spectacular waterfalls, 5 of which are more than 160 metres high. The trails vary from 1 to 16 kilometres.
We also offer special arrangements for people with disabilities and aged people.
